Cave of Forgotten Dreams!

My week reached its zenith when towards the end I came excitingly close to a living legend, a man of boundless talent and originality, Werner Herzog. Ever since I first saw Fitzcarraldo the film in which, Klaus Kinski’s character so …   Continue reading

Same same but different!

Back in London a mere 10 days, alas the tranquillity and bliss of St Barth’s feels miles away already. After a few more jam-packed moments all around the NYC Armory and my far too short stint in paradise I’m feeling short of …   Continue reading

the Good the Bad and the Foxy!

Another week has passed and I am about to hop over the pond (I wish it were that easy) destination NYC. I decided that the Armory (the NYC equivalent to Frieze Artfrair) is more worthwhile than another Fashion Week which …   Continue reading

Having a book translated is even more surreal.   Continue reading

Surreal Circus!

The best thing about a fancy dress party is the dressing up. Being both a perfectionist and strapped for time the idea of getting a good outfit going was somewhat hellish. Luckily my dear friend Giada has been in London for many years and being an artist/fun loving gal herself she is most resourceful when it comes to mad endeavours. So in preparation she dragged me through Soho’s seedy backstreets and right into the Horse Hospital a treasure trove of a place if you are looking to rent a vintage costume.   Continue reading
